About L17X Research

Independent structural analysis. Built in Germany. Powered by conviction.

The Mission

L17X Research exists because most investment analysis answers the wrong question. The industry is built around "what should I buy?" L17X asks a different question: "what is this company, structurally?"

Power Mapping does not predict prices. It maps power: where it comes from, how defensible it is, what it depends on, and where it appears to be heading. The result is not a recommendation. It is a structural portrait that makes every company comparable to every other.

L17X covers the S&P 500, STOXX 600, and Nikkei 225 through a single analytical lens. One framework. Three continents. Every company held to the same standard.

The Founder

LM
Ludwig J. Marx
Founder & Analyst

Creator of the Power Mapping framework and the Market Operating System (mOS). Both frameworks were developed over years of active market participation before being formalised into the analytical systems that power L17X Research today.

Based in Germany. Independent. No institutional affiliation, no venture capital, no conflicts of interest.

The Approach

Two Proprietary Frameworks

Power Mapping — structural company analysis through five roles and four axes.

mOS (Market Operating System) — a zone-based technical indicator identifying market phases. Developed over years of active market participation. Full methodology published in book form.

Proprietary Systems

Every analysis uses the proprietary Power Mapping system and the proprietary mOS. No third-party ratings. No consensus data. One framework applied consistently across every company in every index.

No Advice. No Targets. No Hype.

L17X does not give investment advice. It does not publish price targets. It does not use urgency language. Every analysis uses conditional language ("could," "may," "appears to suggest") deliberately. What you do with the analysis is your decision. L17X provides the map. You navigate.
